Books that are in good condition could be sold or reused by donating to charity. Read our article about all the ways to sell and give away unwanted items (opens in a new window).

You can also take it to a north London reuse and recycling centre (opens in a new window) because we put aside reusable things to be sold in our ReUse Shop (opens in a new window). However, if they are not reusable, books can go into your recycling bin. Please just make sure they have no dirt, foodstuffs, grease or paint on them (if so, they would need to go in your general waste bin).
