If you're trying to get rid of something, there might be someone else who needs it! There are lots of ways to pass it on:
Sell it
Sell unwanted items on Ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Shpock or Wallapop.
Give it to charity
Good quality reusable items can also be donated to a local shop. Some charities will collect items for free, such as Sue Ryder, Marie Curie, British Heart Foundation and Klasp.
Online platforms
Check out Olio, Freegle, Freecycle, Ferrisapp and Trash Nothing. These sites can be especially good for giving away slightly unusual items.
You can also bring reusable things to one of north London's reuse and recycling centres. We can sell them in our ReUse Shop in Chingford.
