Get involved in this repair and restoration class. Across three evening classes or one Saturday in-house artist Huren Marsh will take you through the basics of upcycling a chair. You will have the option at the end of the class to be paired with another artist to paint, upholster or transform your restored chair into a work of art.
The workshops will be practical and fun, making use of our well-equipped yard workshop. The workshops will be led by Huren Marsh.
Huren Marsh has a degree in furniture and product design and combined practice in interior architecture & design as well as teaching the subject for over thirty years. He has a chair in the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Design 1900 - Now gallery.
All chairs or stools will be provided for attendees to upcycle. These workshops will take x3 sessions so please look at the available dates.
