Fashion for Future

Fashion For Future challenges our society's fixation with fast fashion. The organisation runs clothing swaps, where customers can donate clothes in exchange for tokens that they can use to shop for a new favourite. This not only reduces waste, but helps us rethink our relationship to clothing waste and reconsider when things really need to be thrown away.

 

NLCF funding allowed Fashion for Future to carry on the clothing swaps and deliver workshops covering skills such as textiles repair and clothes reworking and upcycling.

 

Across the period of the NLCF funding, Fashion for Future facilitated an incredible 7,906 clothing swaps, diverting over 50 tonnes of textiles from waste. Nearly 800 residents were reached through an impressive 85 workshops.
