The Inconvenient Store

This project, based on a trial delivered in 2022, delivered workshops and events that aimed to normalise climate-conscious lifestyles to people from all backgrounds in the community and encourage businesses to become more sustainable. The project team delivered on their objectives through clothes swaps, a climate cafe, upcycling and repurposing of textiles workshops and upskilling sessions. 

The Inconvenient Store engaged with 20 local businesses, exchanged 445 items of clothing and repaired 54 appliances throughout the project period.
