Arachne Greek Cypriot Women's Group

Arachne is a community-based charity in Islington. Our mission is to empower women and help them reach their full potential. We do this by providing free welfare advice and support, health awareness and information, employment advice and training, accessible groups and classes, and volunteering opportunities. They also work to increase the understanding of and celebrate Greek and Greek Cypriot culture.

Arachne have received funding to put on 3 sewing courses for women in the community. The courses are aimed to upskill residents so they can repair and upcycle their clothes and other textiles therefore preventing waste.
