Age UK Enfield

Age UK Enfield are a charity supporting and enhancing the lives of older people - they're passionate about improving the lives of older people by ensuring they are valued, active, connected and able to live the life they choose.

Their project 'Men in Sheds' received funding this year. The project aims to create a safe, social space for men over 60 to talk to and support each other whilst also learning woodworking skills and staying active by doing so. The project has seen the men making many items out of recycled wood, including garden planters which they donated to an Enfield shopping centre.
