The Abbey Community Centre

Abbey Community Centre is a local charity and community centre supporting people of all ages living in or near Kilburn, North West London, to lead better connected, healthier and happier lives.

They were awarded funding this year for their recycle-art project. They hold weekly classes for Camden residents to come and make beautiful objects for in or out of the home out of normally wasted materials such as plastic bottles and old cardboard. The project has seen attendees make anything from milk bottle planters to bottle-cap jewellery.
