Kentish Town City Farm runs educational workshops, petting zoos and gardening clubs amongst many other activities.
They received funding for the 2021-2022 year for the development of a reuse and recycle hub on site and a programme of classes where community members learnt new skills.
Their aims were to co-design their plans with the community so that it would directly serve them. This was effective and results in the hub being used for projects such as Halloween costume swaps. They also ran a series of repair, reuse and recycle workshops for residents to upskill them on sustainable living and environmental impact.
