FEAST With Us

FEAST With Us is an organisation dedicated to eradicating food poverty across London using sustainable waste-minimising processes. During this project the team reached residents in Camden, Islington and Haringey.

Their goals are to: prevent malnutrition, reduce food waste and encourage community cohesion. To achieve these goals the project 'Zero Waste Feast' brings people together to use surplus food that would otherwise have gone to waste, to cook nutritious meals for those experiencing food poverty. 

By the end of the project they had achieved:

• 100% of their workshops being zero-waste
• 10,071kg of waste diverted from landfill 
• 5 composting/wormery systems being put in place
• 19,661 meals cooked using surplus, donated food
