Forest Fixers at the Mill

A repair cafe is a relaxed, informal setting that gives people an opportunity to fix their small electrical goods. Not only can they save an item from going to waste, but they can pick up valuable skills that will help them feel empowered to make other repairs at home.

 

Forest Fixers runs repair clubs in Waltham Forest. Thanks to the NLCF, the group was able to run 23 repair cafes and 19 repair clubs in 2023-24. Over 200 residents attended, learning valuable repair skills alongside their neighbours. 100 items were fixed at these events, saving them from going to waste - and saving their owners from needing to buy replacements!
