Bounds Green Food Bank

Bounds Green Food Bank provides a lifeline to Haringey residents experiencing food insecurity, as volunteers collect and redistribute fresh produce, packaged food and household supplies.

 

The Food Bank's Eco Group is made up of volunteers who are focused on making the organisation's activities as sustainable as possible. NLCF funding helped support this group, providing equipment so the volunteers could ramp up their eco efforts. Across 2023, they were able to run two clothing donation events, establish a sewing group to create reusable bags for food parcels, start composting food waste and train fellow volunteers on zero-waste techniques.
