The identification codes show which type of material was used to make a product. That means it doesn’t necessarily indicate a product’s recyclability. Clear glass is used to make food jars and bottles. Household packaging like this can go in your recycling bin at home.

Drinking glasses, or glass vases, bowls or dishes cannot go in the recycling bin at home. You can instead take them to any of north London's reuse and recycling centres (see below).
