Staples

You can put stapled paper into the recycling bin, including magazines and leaflets. Please do not put staples on their own into the recycling bin.

If you have a small quantity of staples that cannot be used, they should go in your rubbish bin at home. If you have a large number of staples, you should try to give them away on Freecycle, Freegle or Olio (opens in a new window). If you cannot find any way to reuse them, you can take them to some of our reuse and recycling centres where they can go in the metal container.
