If you want to get rid of something that's made from silicone, and it's in good condition, try giving it away first. You can offer it on websites like Freecycle (opens in a new window) or Freegle (opens in a new window), or you can take it to a charity shop.

If the item is not in good enough condition to be reused by someone else, it should go in your general waste bin because it is not possible to recycle silicone in north London.
