Plastic gloves cannot go in your recycling bin at home because they are made from a thin elasticated plastic which is not easy or cost-effective for us to recycle.
TerraCycle (opens in a new window) has a number of drop-off points where disposable gloves can be recycled. One of these is in Islington at 69 Beresford Road, N5 2HR. There is a box by the front door for collection all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This scheme is run by a private householder, so please do not turn up with gloves at any other times.
