You can turn your old candle wax into new candles (opens in new window). Alternatively, you can send used candles and wax to the reCandled - details below.

If you are unable to reuse your candle please put it in your general waste bin.

Removing wax from tealight containers

If you have a tealight candle, you can separate the wick and wax from the metal or plastic containers:

• Put the burnt-out candles in your freezer for an hour or so
• Turn the candles upside-down and tap or press firmly on the base
• The wax should crack and come out easily, along with the wick
