Residents invited to Joint Waste Strategy focus groups

North London Waste Authority (NLWA) and the seven boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest are developing a new Joint Waste Strategy that will guide how we reduce and manage waste.

Residents have a chance to influence this strategy by taking our survey, Towards a low waste north London, which closes on 15 September. We are also running four Joint Waste Strategy focus groups, both online and in-person. These will allow you to hear from the team and give you the opportunity to discuss and share your feedback on key aspects of the developing strategy.

These events will take place at the following times:

  • Tuesday 19 September, 6pm –7:30pm – online on Zoom – Register here
  • Wednesday 20 September, 6pm-7:30pm – Pancras Square Library – Register here
  • Tuesday 26 September, 6pm-7:30pm – Enfield Town Library – Register here
  • Wednesday 27 September, 12:30pm-2pm – online on Zoom – Register here

Please note that you must register in advance in order to attend. Spaces are limited at each event, so please register early to avoid disappointment. The agenda for each meeting will focus on developing the Strategy, and discussion will be around the topics addressed in the survey. We will circulate the agenda to attendees in advance of each meeting. If you have any questions about this, please contact us on nljws@londoncommunications.co.uk.
