Our Yard at Clitterhouse Farm - Claremont Road Clitterhouse Playing Fields London NW2 1AP
Come and compost with us at Clitterhouse Farm! Home composting has always been a no brainer. Not only does it save waste from rotting in landfills, it turns it into a great free product that benefits the climate, your soil and everything you grow.
Join us at the community garden for a free afternoon workshop and learn the ins and outs of composting. Here are a couple of topics we will look at during the sessions:
- Science of Soil: the basics
- Soil, Compost, Decay (and other dirty words)
- Make your own to grow your own
- Guidance for Home Composting
- The Clitterhouse Way: how we are turning a bit of brown into a lot of green and how you can help.
We recommend this workshop for adults and children 12+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets are free but spaces are limited. Please do cancel your spot if life gets in the way. It will give us the opportunity to reallocate your ticket. Thank you so much for your understanding!
If you should have any questions about the workshop, please contact Anika, garden manager at Clitterhouse Farm, at garden@clitterhouse.com.
