John Lord's paintings created with FRP's reclaimed paint! Part of Leytonstone Arts Trail 2024.

As a part of Leytonstone Arts Trail this year, Forest Recycling Project (FRP) are hosting an exhibition by John Lord. John is an East London-based artist and regular customer of FRP's reclaimed paint shop, who creates his large format paintings using reclaimed household paint that he sources from FRP.

Come and see his exhibition and not only that! On Tuesday and Wednesday there are some events going on that involve John and live painting!

Tuesday 9 July 11 am - 4 pm: Live painting! John Lord will create one of his signature large-scale paintings using FRP's reclaimed paint during their opening hours. Come and see how a piece of art is coming to life!

Wednesday 10 July 11 am - 4 pm: Have your portrait painted by John John will hang around at the FRP warehouse offering portraits painted on the spot in exchange for a donation made to FRP. Come and meet John, have your portrait created and browse the large selection of reclaimed paint. 

Wednesday 10 July 5.30pm - 8pm: Meet the Artist, have a drink, find out more about art and reclaiming paint. An open evening with John, FRP staff, drinks, nibbles and possibly music.
