Who are Our Home Our Planet?
The North London Community Fund awarded Our Home Our Planet a grant for their project 'Eco Show and Tell'. Working in Barnet, Eco Show and Tell create friendly, judgement-free spaces where residents can share their knowledge, with the aim of supporting behaviour change.
What is the event?
The training invites any Barnet resident to learn more about making a positive impact in their community, by taking part in community-led waste reduction activities. People don't have to be currently involved in an organised community to enjoy this training.
The in-person training will cover: how to reach out to people in your local community with waste-reduction content; communication styles and the impact of truly listening and connecting to others; review our yearly waste-reduction content plan and personalising it to your priorities; ideas and examples of community waste-reduction engagement initiatives.
Accessibility:
Finchley Church End Library has lift access to the basement level for the training, the event's organiser needs to be informed in advance at ecoshowandtell@gmail.com
