Secondary schools photography competition

This Christmas we're inviting secondary school students to go out with their cameras and capture nature's inspiring ability to bounce back!

We'll be hosting the winner and runners up with their teachers and families at a ceremony at EcoPark House, where we'll be hanging the winning submission on the wall for visitors to admire.

The competition will be running from 9 December 2024 to 30 January 2025.

School Uniform Exchange

We're offering to support you in setting up a second-hand event or shop for your school.

As a school in our exchange network, you'll also have access to our calculator tool. Keep track of each item you've managed to redistribute, and we'll calculate the amount of carbon emissions, textile waste and money you've managed to save!

Visit our School Uniform Exchange webpage to find more information on our Exchange Network, as well as why we’re running it and how to get involved.

Designed with teachers, for teachers, NLWA has co-developed a new outreach programme with north London primary schools to tackle waste.

We'll be working with participating schools this year to deliver waste audits, assemblies and behaviour change workshops for students and staff. On top of that, we'll be hosting an awards ceremony to celebrate in our new EcoPark House next summer.

To find out more about the project and how to sign up for next year, visit our In The Know homepage.
