North London Waste Authority (NLWA) is seeking a contractor to carry out works to construct the western part of a laydown area and an eastern access to the Edmonton EcoPark as part of the North London Heat and Power Project (NLHPP).
Under the NLHPP, NLWA will develop a new Energy Recovery Facility at the Edmonton EcoPark pursuant to a Development Consent Order granted to the Authority on 24 February 2017. The construction of a temporary laydown area is part of the preparatory works for the NLHPP.
The temporary laydown area is to be constructed on an area of open scrubland located to the east of the Edmonton EcoPark. The laydown area will be used to provide construction parking and associated access and utilities.
Further information on the NLHPP is available on the project website.
Further details of the required works are set out in the Memorandum of Information, forming part of the procurement documents. The procurements documents can be accessed through NLWA’s e-procurement portal. The portal is also where tenderers can submit their tender responses.
The OJEU notice relating to this tender was dispatched on 29 June 2018.
